While trying to find a great video for this week, I stumbled upon this couple. Okay, in truth, David (my super fabulous husband) showed this to me, because, you know, he’s like King of the Internet or something.
This way-too-cute couple are trying to figure out their new camera on the computer. The man is hilarious and so sweet you could pinch his cheeks. Around the 1:50 mark he gets a little saucy. What a card!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the newly crowned King and Queen of the Techno Challenged. I, for one, bow to them as my lieges in this ever-changing, confusing expanse of cyber space.

I’m totally techo-challenged in everything. I suppose I could figure stuff out if I tried, but hey, that’s why I had children. They can figure it out and tell me in simple terms…LOL. I’m like her. I figure things out by accident. Very cute video!
My kids and husband are my techno geeks. They not only know computers, they ‘get’ them. I’m learning.

I’m also a complete techno-phobe. Everyday I ask the Universe to send me technical competency and everyday the Universe ignores my pleas. I think if I could get rid of anything, it would be remote controls for everything but garage doors. How lazy are we that we can’t turn on the TV without one? I can never find ours, anyway.
We have SIX remotes for one darn TV. For some reason we can’t use a universal remote. Ugh. Look in the couch cushions, that’s usually where our remotes are ‘stored’.
I’m taking baby steps with this whole computer thing. I know it does much more than I ask of it, but for now, what I know is enough. Almost too much!

Oh my goodness! I LOVED that video clip! One of my all time stupid human tricks involved a remote control. I heard a noise in the middle of the night, grabbed my remote control and tried to turn the tv off for several minutes until I realized…. it was already off. 😐 The noise was from outside. I sometimes need a teenage tutor for my phone, too 🙂
That’s too funny, Ruth! I’ve tried to answer the remote before. Yeah, technology and sleep aren’t user friendly for me.
I’ve got a 13 year-old you can borrow anytime you need help. He’s a wiz at technology. *sigh*

A friend showed me this a few days ago but I got a real kick out of seeing it again. I’m so hoping that hubby and I still get along so well when we’re in our eighties! They are just adorable, even the sauciness, too cute!
It’s not so much the technology with me as my wandering mind. I have lost count of the times I’ve tried to answer the phone by picking up the TV remote, or tried to change the volume on the TV with the phone. I’m just lucky no one has called me while I’m ironing.
I know, I hope David and I are cute like that when we’re all wrinkly and grey.
Here’s something scary – I just heard the other day you can get an app for your iPhone that lets you control the TV. Now, that’s just wrong!
I say keep the phone away from your ironing board and you should be safe? Hope so! That would really suck.

They are adorable and funny. I love technology and gadgets. 🙂 It took a bit for me to get the hang of my Blackberry phone and I’m sure that I don’t know all of the things it can do yet – it’ll be a year this November.
Hmmm what do I wish was invented….not sure.
My husband had a Blackberry for awhile and tried to get me one, but I demurred. When the iPhone 4 came out, I was finally ready for it and I love, love, love it. I’m like you – I’ve had it over a year and still don’t know what it can do. That’s what the teenager is for, right?
I’d invent a robot to clean my house. That would free up more time for writing!

I actually work in the IT field, but I’m old school and practically clueless when it comes to gadgets. My 11 yr old boys generally help out, I think the younger generation have evolved genetically to absorb this techno stuff without even trying

Hilarious! I could totally relate. As you know Tameri, tech stuff isn’t my thing even though I would like it to be. I’m still trying to figure out how to attach the Liebster Award (thanks again for that!) … and don’t even mention remote controls to me!

I love his singing in the beginning. I can just imagine him going through his day all happy and humming to everyone he meets. I hope they get as big a kick out of this as we all have. A little ray of sunshine to our days.
My mom sent me this video, as she is trying to be more technical. We bought her an ipad last year and she’s pretty internet savvy now. This video is really funny!

Love this video!! Reminds me of trying teach Mom how to work Facebook. They are so cute. I wouldn’t say that I am techno savvy although I think I do ok. Hubby is an IT guy and he says I have a force field around me that messes with anything IT – I have had more computer and gadgets crash than anyone I know. Ugh! My fav gadgets are my blackberry and my Kindle – Love both! Tks for the laugh this am – adorable! :-)))
A force field, that’s hilarious. I think I have one, too. I don’t have gadgets crash, but I kill laptops. I don’t try to, it just happens. Laptops and houseplants.
Lol. I consider myself techno competent, though I hate new technology. Growing up, I was master of the VCR. I could program it for anything, buaha. Now, I read manuals for new stuff and go “huh?” I like my technology simple. I do not have an iphone and never will. Who needs all those widgets/apps? My biggest techno embrace recently will be getting a Kindle for Christmas.
Master of the VCR! I actually knew how to program our VCR back in the day. Now, it’s the DVR and I’ve finally mastered it.
I try to read manuals, but most everything now comes with a web tutorial that I find even more confusing than the manual.
I’ve got Kindle on my iPad and I love it. Although, I miss being able to flip to a certain page. You probably can, I just don’t know how. Enjoy yours at Christmas!
Oh this couple was sooooo adorable! I loved how he was flirting with her and getting frisky. LOL.
My only techno-phobe story is one on my in-laws. We have a hilarious tape of them having a “mild dispute” over how to work the camera. She insisted they’d have to return the camera since it wasn’t working. Everything was dark. Nope she didn’t leave the lens on. She had on extra dark sunglasses!

I know, right? And she just totally ignore him! That’s my favorite part. Well, that and when they get up close to the screen and make faces. Too cute.

I love that video! As for me, I don’t know how to work the remote for the television (except volume and recall-anything else is just a happy accident, or not so happy, depending on what I do with it). My digital camera has so many settings it’s not even funny, so my daughter finds what I need…so I can just aim and click. But I’m good with computers. 🙂
