Last week, to celebrate National Girlfriends Day, the super fabulous Jennifer Aderhold sent me an adorable email. The silly little pictures and sayings touched me and so I thought I’d share them with all of my real and cyber girlfriends. You!!
So here’s a little pre-Valentine note to all of you, because I couldn’t get through my day without all of you…
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right.
Love the ones who don’t just because you can.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
Kiss slowly.
Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy.
He just promised it would be worth it.
I am only as strong as the chocolate I eat,
the hairspray that I use and the friends I have.
To the cool women who have touched my life, here’s to you!
What would most of us do without our sisters, confidants and shopping, lunching, and traveling girls?
Let’s celebrate each other for each other’s sake!
TO MY GIRLFRIENDS!!
I’d be lost without my virtual and real-life gal pals. You guys make my world a better place to be. Thanks for sharing the fab sentiments Tameri! 🙂 Here’s to you and the celebrations!
I know, right? I consider myself very, very blessed to know you!
No such thing as too many girlfriends! In fact I wrote on that months ago. Life would stink without girlfriends! That’s a sweet sentiment you shared. Thanks, Tameri and have a blast with your girls!
Yep, I remember that post and had I remembered it before posting this, I would’ve linked back to it. Darn memory. 😉 The more the merrier, I say.
*sends you lots and lots of hugs* And the same back to you dear! Thanks for making my day and reminding me that life is amazing and to never stop appreciating all of the wonderful little things. =)
Hugs to you as well, dear friend! You are one of the wonderful people I’ve had the fortune of meeting here in cyberspace. I just wish there was a way to get us all together for a huge party. I hope your day continues to make you smile.
Boyfriends come and go, but girlfriends are forever!
Truer words were never spoken. Thank you, Diana for being one of those fab ladies I consider my friend.
Such a love worth celebrating. Thanks for sharing this, Tameri. Definitely worth passing on.
“Only as strong as my chocolate…” Yet another reason to opt for dark. (ha!)
Thanks August. I loved the simplicity of the statement, but the power behind it. Glad you enjoyed it and like the chocolate reference. I did think of you when I first read this. 😉
Aww, for some reason none of the pictures are showing up for me, but I could read the lovely words!
You are an awesome girlfriend, and I’m so happy to have you in my life!
I think I fixed it! My hubs couldn’t see it either. Probably because I copied it from the email, but now I’ve properly put the pictures in, so it should work. Really, though, it’s the words that matter and I’m pleased you liked them. You’re totally awesome too and I’m so lucky to have met you!
I see pictures! They’re very adorable, especially that last one. That’s how I look if I got to the Ren Faire in full garb. I hog the air conditioning vents in the ‘castle’, hehe.
That’s so funny! I could see you doing that, too. I always worry about those ladies in their long velvet skirts, I would want a little air conditioner under mine!
This one really put a huge smile on my face! I love all my girlfriends, no matter how near or far they are, virtual or real life … you’re all very real to me and make everything worthwhile! YAY for girlfriends everywhere! ~ Julie 🙂
Yay! So glad I could bring cheer to your day. That’s how I felt when Jen sent it to me. I’m so glad I got to meet you out here in the blogosphere!
It’s been a long, long day. How nice to sit down and catch up and read this from one of the sweetest, funniest people in the blogosphere! Perfect timing. You actually made me smile. Back at ya girlfriend.
Now I’m going to pass it on. Hugs!!!!!!
Aw, that makes my heart smile, Kate. I’m sorry it was such a long day and I hope tomorrow brings sunnier skies and more smiles. Hugs to you!!
Mucho big hugs coming your way, Tameri. Life without girlfriends would be blue and empty. I’m so glad to have found you on this journey called life.
Indeed it would, Louise. I feel the same way, my friend!
My girlfriends are my sista’s.
❤
Yep. Love every single one of you.
My best friend who lives in L.A. sent me an email advising me that her mother-in-law passed away. The next line inquired whether I’d be using my Coach coupon, and if not, could she have it?
I realize she might sound cold and unfeeling, but I understand her. And she knows I wouldn’t bat an eye. 🙂
I totally get that, Jennifer. And it’s fabulous that she feels comfortable enough with you to be like that and know that you’ll understand. By the way, I have a Coach coupon if she needs it. 😉
I embrace every and each of my girlfriends. They are fabulous – each in her own way.
Great way to celebrate us, girls, Tameri!
Yep, they sure are! That’s what I love about them.
Wahoo! Love my girls 🙂 They’re my lifeline. Don’t know what I’d do without them 🙂
My sentiments exactly!!
How sweet 🙂 And super cute pictures.
Thanks Sara! You are one of the wonderful women I’ve met online that I consider a fabulous girlfriend. Thanks for making our lives a bit brighter!
Love this post!! Sorry I was down and out when it posted. Those little girls are adorable! Girlfriends are the best, aren’t they? You are a shining gem among them.
No worries! You found it and that’s all that matters. Glad you liked it. I thought the messages were sweet and exactly how I feel about my girlfriends. You all rock my world.
