A Big Bang Time Warp Plus Princessy Giggles

Happy Friday!

After bumming you out earlier this week, I thought we needed to start the weekend with some laughs!

Who better to do that than our favorites guys and gals from The Big Bang Theory?

Think Sheldon in drag and you’ve got giggles galore, right? The cast got together to put on a fabulous rendition of Rocky Horror’s ‘Time Warp’ to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Foundation. What great people! The first minute is them talking about what horrible singers they are, but it’s a good cause. The singing starts at about the one minute mark. I wish I could find a recording of the whole thing. But this is super cool for now. Enjoy!

And because I love all things princessy, I had to add this short clip of the girls from TBBT. It’s from an episode where the gals ditched work and went to Disneyland. They ended up going to a special boutique at the park where they dress you up like a princess. In the episode, there was some *ahem* discussion who would be Cinderella and Bernadette was the clear winner. I could go on, but want you to enjoy this little clip, it’s cute even if you don’t have the entire episode’s back story.

Have a fabulous weekend! What’s on your agenda? Any plans to play hooky? Are you and your prince charming doing any exploring? What about the Time Warp? Think you’ll drive anywhere unexpected and make some new friends? Mwuahahahahaaaa!

      • Hey Trish!

Why were you anonymous? SO bizarre. Well, we know who you are now. πŸ™‚ Love, love, love TBBT. So glad I could give you a laugh last week and I have no idea why it took me forever to get back here and comment. I think I had a Lost Weekend.

  1. How have I not seen that episode? That was hilarious! Thanks for the giggles πŸ™‚ This weekend, I…have no idea what I’m doing. I wouldn’t want to plan anything and ruin the surprise of discovery lol

    • You should see if it’s on Hulu or something. Or I’m sure it will be on repeat this summer, it was pretty funny, but they didn’t actually show the girls at the park. THAT would’ve been hilarious! But I bet Disney said, um, NO. As far as I could find out, they don’t actually have the adult costumes, either. It’s a trap! πŸ™‚ I hope you had a fun weekend, with surprises and all.

Two weeks and we get to have all sorts of surprises and fun stuff!

  2. Ohmygosh! I love Big Bang Theory and those videos are hilarious! What a fun post. Thanks so much for sharing. Snow White and Sheldon – classic! I can’t even tell you how many times I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the theater. I sooo lost count. And YES, I got up in the isle and did the Time Warp. LOL!

    • I love Amy and Sheldon. I was reading over the weekend that Mayim Bialik doesn’t ever want Amy and Sheldon to do the nasty, she likes them having the sexual tension. It’s kind of sweet and innocent, but strange at the same time.

Oh, you know I saw Rocky Horror and got up in the aisles, too! Good times, good times.

    • They are a great bunch of people. I guess they do that every year and have a blast coming up with what song they’ll perform. I wish I could get tickets ~ I might have to research it for next year. That’s something I’d drive to LA to see. πŸ™‚

  3. I L.O.V.E. TBBT, Tameri.

The addition of Amy Farrah Fowler to the cast was (IMHO) brilliant. Some of my spew-green-tea-from-my-nose moments are a result of her lines. She has a name for her *special* electric toothbrush, for crumb’s sake. Since you’re a fan, YKWIM.

I doubt there’s an episode I haven’t seen more than sixteen times twice.

Thanks for the link to YouTube. It was great seeing and hearing the cast in their real personas.

Wallowitz doesn’t even look so geeky in real life. He may not have to use that robotic hand for *gratification* in real life. I’m just happy he chose to use it in an episode. The scene at the ER was priceless.

Hope you’re feeling better, Chiquita! I’m ready to rock at DFWCon and want you to be well and happy and ready for pops of snark.

    • I totally agree about Mayim being a great addition to the cast! The spanking episode is still one of my all-time favorites!

I’m going wig shopping today ~ we’re going to have so much fun in Dallas, they won’t know what hit them. For real.

  4. Those were great, Tameri, and just what I needed! I’ve been going bananas writing posts for a blog tour and trying to get everything done so I can relax at DisneyWorld next week with The Adorables who are visiting!

    • Ohmigosh! I would love to see Dale’s face! Well, he IS your Prince Charming and you DO have the trusty steed. You need to get a fancy headdress for Snoopy.

I’m laughing so hard I can hardly type. I’d totally forgotten about that episode with Amy and Sheldon. A tiara fixes everything. Thanks for the extended giggles. Love you oodles!

  5. My daughter once asked me a couple of years ago if I watched Big Bang Theory and I said no I haven’t. She said, “Oh Mom, YOU should.” After I watched and became a fan I thought about how she put the emphasis on YOU. Hmmm… was it something I said???? or did she just think I was a big nerd??? Probably both. Love these clips and adore the entire cast. I’m having a quiet weekend because my “boys” are gone off to an out of town NHL game. It’s cold, rainy and the perfect day to snuggle up with a throw and catch up with my blogging pals.

    • Isn’t it funny how people say that? My neighbor said the exact same thing to Dave and me. We were like, um, okay. Then we started watching it and I immediately got it, but Dave was like, what? I’m totally Penny and he’s Sheldon and Leonard’s love child. For real. But he still doesn’t see it. πŸ™‚

I hope you enjoyed your quiet weekend alone. Sometimes those are the BEST!

  6. You didn’t bum us out, Tameri…more like worried us. 😦

Anyway, I wish I’d seen this post on Friday. I missed a golden opportunity. I could have called my sister, and our brothers wives, put on some black fishnet stockings, a teddy, and feather boa, and gone to a karaoke bar. Well crap. Oh well. It’s been cold and rainy anyway. More like snowmobile suit weather, not teddy weather.

Loved the videos! Especially the princess one. The guy at the end was great! πŸ™‚

    • Thank you my darling. Love you, too. And you still need to send my your phone number so I can send you inappropriate texts. You missed a killer joke yesterday. πŸ™‚

You can go to the karaoke bar this Friday! Just throw a down jacket over your teddy. Oh, my! Will the snow ever stop? I keep seeing the pictures and fearing that Game of Thrones is right ~ Winter is Coming. Yikes. 😦

    • Glad I could give you a giggle! Friday, Monday, any day! I just happened upon the Time Warp thing and couldn’t stop laughing. Jim Parsons was totally channeling Sheldon, in a teddy. Oh. My.

  7. Hahaha! Great videos, Tameri. How cool they sang the Time Warp to raise money for Alheimer’s. loved the funny princess scenes. Great choices! It was wonderful seeing you Saturday. What an awesome time!

    • I loved seeing you, too! And your Thor post still has me laughing. Although, I had to explain Bite Eyeball! To my family. Then show them the video. Then explain it again. Men. I’m still laughing about it. Your grandson is way too funny.

Glad you liked the videos! We need to get your grandson to sing Time Warp! There’s an idea…
